Many agencies now require flow meter verification at set intervals. Whether it's annually, biannually, or every 3 to 5 years, you may be required to have your flow meter checked.

Sending it back to the manufacturer is costly and time-consuming, and often you're removing and shipping a meter that was accurate to begin with.
